Chromatic Span
a plane that paints itself as it transforms
The idea
The same recipe, now in motion.
Every mark is made from two basis vectors — but here the basis moves. Points, lines, and colour are all sampled from the same span while v and w drift, rotate, and shear over time.
The field stays faithful to the rule the whole way through: nothing is repositioned by hand, so you watch a plane change underneath a pattern that never breaks it.

S1
One point
A single mark, placed by its coefficients.
Open stage →
S2
Span
Two basis vectors open up everything they can reach.
Open stage →
S3
Grid
Tile the coefficients and a whole lattice appears.
Open stage →
S4
Drag
Move a basis vector and the lattice shears with it.

S5
Matrix
The two vectors, side by side, are the transform.

S6
Motion
Let the basis move and the whole plane comes alive.
